This is one example of converting old data from older applications to new ones. It was quite a challenge to transfer more than 250MB from FoxPro to a more recent environment.

At the request of the orderer, the program retained the practically identical appearance and way of functioning – it was the explicit request of the contracting authority so as not to spend time on learning and adjusting. Thus, the program retained functionality:
– entry, changes and reservations of the item
– Search for items
– entry and change of movement
– print covers
– printing of transit records
– printing of statistical reports
– code book
– organs
– type of object
– types of movement
– class
– users
– Inspector
– district
Some things that were lacking were added, such as the Archives, some reports and their adjustment, monitoring of cases by inspectors, and so on.
